Guide Dog Donation

Guide Dog Donation

We are thrilled to be celebrating 30 incredible years in the polythene manufacturing industry. To mark this significant milestone, we have embarked on a campaign, ’30 for 30’ where we aim to give back to our community and make a positive impact in as many ways as possible.

As part of this campaign, we are proud to announce our latest act of kindness: a donation to Guide Dogs, an organisation that transforms the lives of individuals with sight loss. Our £50.00 contribution will go towards creating a tailor-made large print book for a child with sight loss, helping them experience the joy of reading.

Reading is a fundamental part of childhood, fostering imagination, learning, and development. For children with sight loss, accessing books can be challenging which is why large print books are so crucial. Our donation ensures that a child will receive a personalised large print book, tailored to their specific interests and needs. This act of kindness will not only bring joy to the child but also support their educational journey and personal growth.

Guide Dogs for the Blind is a remarkable organisation which started in 1931 and is the world’s largest trainer and breeder of working dogs. They’re also the largest employer of specialists dedicated to helping children and young people overcome the challenges of sight loss. They offer a range of services, including guide dog partnerships, orientation and mobility training, and accessible technology. Their work empowers people with visual impairments to live independently and confidently.

By donating to Guide Dogs for the Blind, we are supporting their mission to enhance the quality of life for those with sight loss. The charity relies on donations, which make an enormous difference to the lives of people with sight loss. Did you know that every hour, someone in the UK starts to lose their sight? Make a donation today, no matter how big or small, and help those in need
