Slough Food Bank
As part of our ongoing 30 for 30 campaign where we celebrate 30 years of business by giving back to our community in 30 meaningful ways, we recently had the privilege of supporting Slough Food Bank with a donation. This incredible organisation provides essential food supplies to those in need, and we're honoured to contribute to their vital work.
During our visit to Slough Food Bank, we met Heather, a dedicated volunteer who shared with us the ongoing need for donations. Heather explained how important community support is, especially during these challenging times when many families are struggling to put food on the table.
To do our part, we used Slough Food Bank's online shopping list to purchase and donate a range of much needed items. From canned goods to basic staples, every contribution helps ensure that the food bank can continue to provide for those who need it most.
Slough Food Bank relies on the generosity of local businesses and individuals to keep their shelves stocked. If you would like to support their efforts, there are several ways you can help:
- Donate Food: You can visit their website and access their shopping list, which highlights the items they are most in need of. Simply purchase these items and drop them off at one of their collection points.
- Financial Contributions: Monetary donations are always welcome and allow the food bank to purchase products that may not be donated regularly and invest in their project.
- Volunteer Your Time: If you're local to the area, consider volunteering your time to help with sorting and distributing food. Volunteers like Heather are the backbone of the food bank's operations.
